Must-haves for comfortable travel

As a seasoned world traveler, I feel like I've tried just about every travel-related product that promises comfort on long haul flights. Here are some of my tried and true favorites:

I had my most comfortable flight ever recently in economy on a 17 1/2 hour non-stop from Los Angeles to Singapore with this inflatable foot rest. My restless legs and achy back usually keep me from sleeping much on flights, but this foot rest was an absolute game changer and I think I slept at least 12 hours on this flight. We did have a bulk head row, so had lots of leg room for this to work. It probably wouldn't work well in a regular economy seat, so if you want to try this out make sure you book an exit or bulk head row. I've also seen people use this with children in regular economy seats so the child can lay down flat.

If you're not able to book a bulk head or exit row to use the inflatable foot rest, check out this foot rest sling. I also own this and have used it on multiple flights. It's not as comfortable as the inflatable foot rest, but definitely helps as it elevates your legs and feet.

OK, you might have laughed at people using the trtl travel pillow, but I am here to tell you this is the most comfortable travel pillow I've ever used. This pillow is "scientifically proven" to help your head in a better, more comfortable position while sleeping. It holds your head upright and keeps your head from bobbing up and down.

Wish you could watch in-flight movies with your AirPods or noise cancelling headphones? Or do you want to watch a movie with your traveling companion? I have the answer for you. AirFly Pro is a tiny Bluetooth device that connects up to 2 AirPods or wireless headphones to any single audio jack and transmits and receives audio wirelessly wherever you go.

I love this cute little portable charger. On a recent flight, my in seat power outlet wasn't working, so I was glad I had this with me. It took my phone from 25% to a full charge in about45 minutes. The size is perfect for traveling. Throw it in your purse, backpack or pocket to charge on the go.

My Friend Lynda influenced me to buy this one. It's a combination fan, portable charger, and flashlight all in one and it works great! I recently took this on a trip traveling through Jordan and loved it. The fan function helped keep me cool and the charger function came in handy to charge my phone. It especially came in handy on a recent 14 hour flight where masks were still required. Wearing a mask that long tends to make me feel a little claustrophobic, and a little airflow sure helps elevate that feeling.

Remember the days of lugging a bag full of books to your beach vacation? Oh, was I the only one that used to do this? It's been at least 10 years since I got my first Kindle and I can't imagine not having this, especially for travel. I was so glad when they came out with a waterproof version. My Kindle goes in the pool and even ocean with me.

I recently read an article about how dirty airplane blankets are, and immediately ordered this guy. This blanket is lightweight and breathable with just a little stretch. Soft blanket doubles as a plush pillow when folded into the pouch for a perfect combo of features. The zippered carrying case includes a piggy-back strap that slides right over your roller bag handle so you don't have to find room in your bag for it.
